Intermediate Course

This is for advanced puppies or older dogs that have no specific behavioural issues and want to improve their training and socialisation. The course is 6 weeks in length and classes are held on a Saturday afternoon in the Quedgeley scout hut (GL2 4PJ). The cost of the full course is £30 which is payable in advance.

The course builds on the commands learnt in the puppy class and adds some further commands including a chase recall and distance control. The theory and socialisation from the puppy class is not included as the focus is on training, however the dogs will get the opportunity to play during most sessions.  

By the end of the course I aim for the dogs to be able to perform a 2 minute stay often with the owner in a different room.  One of the sessions is held in a field to make sure that what the dogs have learnt can be transferred to everyday life.  

The course is designed to be great fun involving games and competitions each week.
